Local Riding News:

  • Trail conditions:  Changes Daily!
  • Colorado National Monument:  It is cold! Dress accordingly. There is a requirement that you must have a visible headlight and taillight (ON!) in all tunnels on the monument.  They are ticketing ($150 fine) so don't forget your lights.  We have them for sale starting at $12.99.

  • Local Mountain Biking Trails
  • Lunch Loop Trail System: Depending on the day the weather is perfect for riding! However, do not ride the trails if they are muddy!! It is getting cold so dress accordingly, and it is getting darker earlier. Lots of recently developed trails.  Mira Monte Rim brand new moderate to easy, Prenup (a.k.a. Widowmaker bypass) connects the Tabeguache to Little Park Rd. all on single track.  3 miles of new flowing singletrack on the Gunny Loop make it one of the best rides around.  Pucker Up is a new freeride bypass of the Lemon Squeezer trail.
Weekly Rides:
  • Saturday Morning Road Ride: Meet at The Bike Shop at 10:00am. As it gets colder the ride might be starting later so check back. With all road rides if the weather is bad or too cold most likely no one will be riding in it.
  • Tuesday/Thursday Road Rides: These rides are postponed until Spring!
  • Wednesday Mountain Rides: 5:45 p.m. 
    • Meet here at the Shop and ride out to the Tabeguache Trail head. Ride until the cows come home, or until you can't see the trail anymore. This can sometimes be a night ride so bring your lights!

  • Sunday Road Rides: Meet at The Bike Shop at 1:00pm. With all road rides if the weather is bad or too cold most likely no one will be riding in it.
